Working professionally in the music business since 1991, AJ Vallejo has spent the majority of his life writing songs, performing and touring around the world. He and his brothers/fellow bandmates were born in Wharton, Texas but moved to Birmingham, Alabama where they started playing music and forming their rock group, Vallejo. The band went on to quickly sign with the Chicago-based record label, IMI, who signed them onto New York's TVT, and ultimately up the lable ladder to Sony/Crescent Moon.

After the release of 10 self-produced albums, they now have their own production company, VMG (Vallejo Music Group) based out of Austin, TX, which specializes in the production, promotion, and manufacturing of their music clients' projects.

VMG also has a publishing company that does commercial spots for sports, TV and radio. They have recently written songs for the University of Texas, Baltimore Ravens and the Orlando Magic along with many other TV and radio placements.

Vallejo was awarded "Band Of The Year" in 2001 by the Austin Chronicle as well as "Best Rock Band" from 1999 through 2003. They also won the coveted Texas Premio Award in 2009 and the Aguila Award in 2007 which recognizes rock music in the Latin world.

AJ Vallejo has produced, engineered and co-written an impressive list of songs and albums with his band, as well as numerous Texas Artists with diverse music styles and continues to build his resume with current projects and music groups.
